About Us
History
Established in London since 2001, Friends of Armenia is a registered charity dedicated to improving the lives of Armenians residing in their homeland. With a board of eleven trustees, including both Armenian and non-Armenian professionals based in London, this organization follows the legacy of an earlier charity founded under the same name in 1897. Lady Cavendish, Lord Bryce, and other esteemed British figures initiated this charitable endeavor after witnessing the atrocities committed against Armenians in Turkey's Zeytoun region.
